Decorative sealers are by name and nature a design element for concrete, mortar and plaster surfaces. They can transform your project in to an amazing finished product whilst protecting it from dirt, dust and the elements.
In general, there are 3 steps – Clean / Protect / Enhance.
Choosing the right sealer depends on what you want the surface to look like. If you simply want to repel water then choose a penetrating option. If a glossy ‘wet look’ is what you are after then add on a film forming, enhancing product.
Decorative sealers are not considered a fully functional water proofer like the Cemix Waterproofing range of products, so it is important to ensure that the correct product is selected for the intend use.
