TYPICAL USES:
Used for applications including:
– Block Fills

– Foundations & Footings
– Paths
ADVANTAGES:
– Can be used to make a variety of concretes
MIXING:
A general recommendation for a concrete mix is a 5:1 ratio of CEMIX BUILDERS MIX with CEMIX GP CEMENT. Water as required.
DRYING & CURING TIME:
It is recommended that all mixes containing CEMIX GP CEMENT be cured for at least 28 days. Avoid walking or driving on fresh concrete for at least 7 days. To attain the maximum compressive strength of mixes, minimise water loss during the curing process. Regardless of the curing method, do not apply any sealers to freshly laid concrete for 28 days.
CLEANING:
Clean tools with water immediately after use. If cementitious material becomes set on tools, remove using CEMIX CONCRETE DISSOLVER.
LIMITATIONS:
The success of any project involving CEMIX BUILDERS MIX is dependent on a variety of factors. Care and attention must be given to batching, mixing, selection of sands / aggregates / admixtures, placing, finishing, curing and formwork.
