MIXING:

A general recommendation for a mortar mix is a 4:1 ratio of CEMIX BUILDERS SAND with CEMIX GP CEMENT and one measure of CEMIX PLIMORTAR. Water as required.

Note: CEMIX® PLIMORTAR is used at a ratio of 1:40 with cement. For more information, refer to the CEMIX PLIMORTAR datasheet.

DRYING & CURING TIME:

It is recommended that all mixes containing CEMIX GP CEMENT be cured for at least 28 days. Avoid walking or driving on fresh concrete for at least 7 days. To attain the maximum compressive strength of mixes, minimise water loss during the curing process. Regardless of the curing method, do not apply any sealers to freshly laid concrete for 28 days.
