DESCRIPTION:
CEMIX GP CEMENT is a premium Portland cement used in civil, commercial, industrial and residential applications.
TYPICAL USES:
Used as a cement in concrete, mortars, renders and grouts for applications including:
– Brick & Block Work
– Fence Posts
– Foundations & Footings
– Paths
ADVANTAGES:
– Binding agent in multiple applications in conjunction with sands, aggregates and admixtures

MIXING:
STANDARD MIX RATIOS (BY VOLUME)
DRYING & CURING TIME:
It is recommended that all mixes containing CEMIX GP CEMENT be cured for at least 28 days. Avoid walking or driving on fresh concrete for at least 7 days. To attain the maximum compressive strength of mixes, minimise water loss during the curing process. Regardless of the curing method, do not apply any sealers to freshly laid concrete for 28 days.
CLEANING:
Clean tools with water immediately after use. If the material becomes set on tools, remove using CEMIX CONCRETE DISSOLVER.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:
Up to 6 months when stored in the original, unopened packaging, in a dry place at 23°C and 50% relative humidity.

LIMITATIONS:
The success of any project involving CEMIX GP CEMENT is dependent on a variety of factors. Care and attention must be given to batching, mixing, selection of sands/ aggregates/ admixtures, placing, finishing, curing and formwork.
