Cemix Mortarflex Plus is specifically formulated for use in exterior cementitious mortars and plasters. This powerful plasticiser increases the workability of your mix, making it easier to apply, while reducing water demand. At the same time, it improves adhesion to masonry or concrete substrates, helping your mortar or plaster bond more securely. As a finely tuned additive, Mortarflex Plus also acts as an air-entraining agent — minimising the risk of shrinkage cracking and improving freeze resistance. Additionally, it helps reduce water absorption and efflorescence, contributing to longer-lasting, higher-quality exterior finishes.

Exterior Plastering / Rendering: Ideal for cement-based renders on walls, façades and masonry.
Mortar for Brick or Block Work: Enhances bricklaying mortar with better workability and bond strength.
Repair Mortars: Perfect for patching or repairing exterior concrete or masonry surfaces where cracking and water absorption are concerns.
Cold Climate Projects: Its freeze-resistant characteristics make it suitable for use in environments exposed to low temperatures.
Durability-Focused Builds: For applications where water resistance and minimised efflorescence are important, such as exposed walls or external masonry.

DOSAGE:
5g per kg of cement
PREPARATION:
Refer to the manufacturer’s recommendations for the exterior use plaster or mortar being used.
MIXING:
1. Add the product directly to the mix during mixing. Use 5g of product per kg of cement.
Note: Do not aerate the mixture by stirring over vigorously or for too long. In general, a maximum of 3 minutes is recommended. Accurate measuring is essential as too much product can weaken the mix - use less product rather than more.
