OXIDES
ROOF & GUTTER REPAIR TAPE .jpg

Cemix Oxide Powder provides a vibrant, long-lasting colour to cementitious mixes. Available in a variety of shades (e.g. black, red, brown, white, yellow), it integrates into concrete, mortar or plaster to give coloured finishes for patios, driveways, walls or decorative projects. Designed for both DIY and professional applications, the pigment is measured precisely to maintain strength and stability

TYPICAL USES:

CEMIX OXIDE POWDER can be added to a mix to create a vibrant, coloured concrete or mortar.

  • Coloured concrete slabs (patios, driveways, paths)

  • Tinted mortar, render, or plaster

  • Decorative overlays or stamped concrete work

  • Screeds or structural concrete where colour is required

ADVANTAGES:

  • Vibrant, Long-Lasting Colour: The iron oxide formula gives deep, rich tones that resist fading over time.

  • Easy Integration: Simply mix the oxide directly into your cementitious mix at the start; accurate dosing ensures strong and consistent results.

  • Saturation Limit: Exceeding the recommended dose typically won’t intensify colour further but can weaken the mix — follow dosing guidelines carefully.

  • Stable Performance: Colour-stable iron oxide won’t contribute to efflorescence.

  • Versatile Shades: Available in multiple colours (Black, Dark Brown, Red, White, Yellow, Marigold, Green and Light Brown) to suit different design needs.

MIXING:

1. Add the product directly to the mix at the start of the mixing process. Refer to dosage table.

Note: Accurate measuring is essential as too much product can weaken the mix.

APPLICATION:

As per concrete or mortar specifications.

CLEANING:

Clean tools with water immediately after use.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

Up to 12 months when stored in the original, unopened packaging, in a dry place at 23°C and 50% relative humidity.
