Cemix Plimortar is a pozzolanic powdered additive formulated with hydroxyl aluminium silicates and diatomite to enhance cement-based mortars. When added to mortar mixes, it improves flow, extends working time and enhances tooling without compromising compressive strength. Its advanced formulation also reduces early-stage drying and shrinkage, helping produce more durable, crack-resistant and cohesive mortar.
TYPICAL USES:
Site-mixed mortars for brick, block, or stone masonry where superior bond and workability are required
Cement plaster or rendering applications that demand smooth, creamy, and highly workable mortar
Exterior work where reduced shrinkage is critical, helping minimise cracks and improve long-term durability
Mortars mixed with blended or graded sands for more consistent texture and performance

DOSAGE:
25g per kg of cement
PREPARATION:
Refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for the exterior use plaster or mortar being used.
MIXING:
1. Add the product directly to the mix during mixing. Use 25g of product per kg of cement.
Note: Do not aerate the mixture by stirring over vigorously or for too long. In general, a maximum of 2 minutes is recommended. Accurate measuring is essential as too much product can weaken the mix - use less product rather than more.
APPLICATION:
Refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for the exterior use plaster or mortar being used.
