CEMIX TILING SEALANT is a flexible, coloured silcone, designed to seal and waterproof joint areas.
CEMIX TILIING SEALANT can be used in interior and exterior applications, for sealing and waterproofing joints between a variety of surfaces, including tiles, glass, enamel, aluminium, granite, porcelain and sanitary acrylics.

The substrate should be free of dust, grease, wax, oil, dirt, loose plaster, laitance, curing compounds, paint and all other friable materials and contaminants likely to prevent the adhesive bonding.
The substrate should be dry.
1. Trim the end of the nozzle to the correct bead width.
2. Place the cartridge in the applicator gun.
4. Apply the product in a steady continuous bead, ensuring
good contact with both sides of the joint.
5. Remove any excess product with a spatula.
6. Clean off any product residue with white spirits and a blade.
Apply product at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C.
Note: CEMIX TILING SEALANT can be used for a maximum joint depth of 15mm. Use a backing rod for joints deeper than 10mm.
DRYING & CURING TIME:
Skin forming time is 10 minutes.
Clean tools with white spirits immediately after use.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:
24 months when stored in original unopened packaging in a dry place at 23ºC and 50% relative humidity.

The data shown above reflects typical results based on laboratory testing under controlled conditions. Reasonable variations may occur on site.
Not suitable for use under waterproofing membranes. Not suitable for use in continuous water immersion applications i.e. swimming pools and spas etc. Not suitable for mirror backed tiles and mirrors including mirror backed splashbacks. Not suitable to be painted over.
Contact with natural stone, bitumen-based materials and rubber modified adhesives and metals such as brass and copper, may cause discolouration.
