TYPICAL USES:

• Patching precast panels

• Filling cracks more than 3mm wide

ADVANTAGES:

• Very fast setting

• High early strength

• Durable finish

YIELD:

Varies according to the substrate condition.

Approximately covers up to 0.046m2 per kg at a bed thickness of 10mm.

PREPARATION:

The substrate should be free of dust, grease, wax, oil, dirt, loose plaster, laitance, curing compounds, paint and all other friable materials and contaminants likely to prevent the adhesive bonding.

Smooth surfaces on new and old concrete should be scabbled.

All substrates should be structurally sound, securely fastened and properly supported to eliminate any movement that may cause cracking.

It is recommended to prime the surface with a CEMIX® bonding agent before the application of CEMIX® QUICK PATCH.

MIXING:

  1. Add clean water to a mixing container. Use approximately 175ml of water per kg of product.

  2. Add CEMIX® QUICK PATCH to the water, mixing constantly with a mixing paddle.

Note: Only mix as much product as can be used within 3 minutes. Do not aerate the mixture by stirring over vigorously or for too long.

APPLICATION:

  1. Apply CEMIX® QUICK PATCH onto the surface, using a steel trowel.

  2. Push the product into the crack, hole or similar.

Note: If an overall depth greater than 20mm is needed, multiple layers will be required. In this case, key and prime all preceding layers.

DRYING & CURING:

Drying and curing time depends on the climate.

Approximately 3 to 4 minutes.

CLEANING:

Clean tools with water immediately after use. If material becomes set on tools, remove using CEMIX® CONCRETE DISSOLVER.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

Up to 12 months (pail) and 6 months (bag) when stored in the original, unopened packaging, in a dry place at 23°C and 50% relative humidity
